A Salman Khan scores almost twice second ranker Akshay Kumar, while Kareena Kapoor overtakes Katrina Kaif to regain the top slot in Times Celebex, India's first, most definitive and scientific ranking system for Bollywood actors in the month of DecemberSalman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan edged their way back to the top of Times Celebex powered by zoOm! in the month of December. Launched in September, the Times Celebex is a monthly rating index based on several measurable parameters, including the stars' Box-Office performance, their ability to stay in the news across print, TV and online, their brand endorsement, and their popularity among fans on the internet and social media.
These are taken cumulatively to assign the actors a final rank called the 'T Score'.
While SRK had the highest T Score in November, he slipped to the number 3 slot in December. Salman, with 89 points gained the top spot, and was just one point short of Akshay and SRK combined for the month of December.
Times Celebex is a scientific and robust ranking system based on data collected from 200+ publications and 250+ TV channels, making it the first ever ranking system for Bollywood. We have put together the stars' ranking for the month of December. The rating for January will be announced on March 1.

1. Kareena Kapoor Khan
Kareena Kapoor Khan gained significantly from Talaash's box-office performance as well as the popularity of her item song Fevicol Se. The actress, with her 12 brand endorsements, the highest among all actresses, earned high points that propelled her to the top
2.Katrina Kaif
Kat was the most searched actress on the internet with 1.7 cr searches. Her decision to do her own stunts in Dhoom 3 and stories of her being spotted with Ranbir generated enough buzz to keep her here.
3. Sonakshi Sinha
With Dabangg 2's performance at the BO, Sonakshi easily took this spot. News of her not doing Race 2 because she was asked to lose weight and her Tollywood debut added to her score.
4. Priyanka Chopra
PC's singing her way to the top. An award for her international music debut, 66 lakh social media fans (the highest for any actress and the fourth highest for Bollywood stars) and her upcoming film on Mary Kom have got her the 5th spot.
5. Deepika Padukone
Dippy, the second most popular actress on social media, stayed in the news for the promotions of Race 2, doing Chennai Express with SRK and signing a deal with the skincare brand Garnier, all of which gave her high points to get this place.
6. Anushka Sharma
Anushka maintained her place in the top 10 thanks to Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola, and her sizzling kiss with Imran Khan in the film. Anushka's potshots at Deepika also generated enough gossip to get her high points.
7. Madhuri Dixit
he Dhak Dhak girl continued her upward climb, gaining from the hype around her ongoing film Gulab Gang and becoming the first actress to launch her personal Iphone application. Her decision to part ways with her manager of 27 years Rikku Rakeshnath also added to the buzz.
8. Vidya Balan
Vidya made a comeback to the top 10, thanks to her wedding to Siddharth Roy Kapur as well as her film Ghanchakkar with Emraan Hashmi.
9. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Aishwarya slipped from the 6th spot to the 9th in December because of low visibility. Her four brand endorsements and news related to daughter Aaradhya and a possible comeback gave her sufficient points to retain her place.
10. Rani Mukherji
Rani re-entered the top 10, thanks to the points she scored from the release of Talaash, rumours of her marrying Aditya Chopra, and her decision to become choosy about the films she wants to do.

1. Salman Khan
After a short break, Pandeyji re-claimed his number one position thanks to Dabangg 2's box-office performance. He is also the highest searched Indian actor on the internet with 1 cr plus searches in December and his popularity as the host of Bigg Boss added to his total score.
2. Akshay Kumar
Akshay overtook SRK to claim this spot. His film Khiladi 786 performed well at the BO, while Special 26 was heavily promoted. His 11 brand endorsements as well as his popularity on the internet, with 73 lakh searches, gave him a high score.
3. Shah Rukh Khan
SRK's 14 brand endorsements, news of him wanting to sign Priyanka Chopra for Farah Khan's next and his 67 lakh plus social networking fans added to his score.
4. Aamir Khan
Aamir took this place on the back of Talaash and stayed in the news for his look in Dhoom 3, his desire to bring Mahabharata to celluloid and wanting to turn director once again.
5. Saif Ali Khan
Nawab Saif Ali Khan's wedding to Kareena remained the highlight of the year, and continued to earn him points. His rustic look in Bullet Raja also gave him a few points.
6. Amitabh Bachchan
In his inimitable style, the legend gained from his popularity as the host of Kaun Banega Crorepati and also stayed in the news for reciting a poem for the Delhi gangrape victim. News of him gifting a Mini Cooper to granddaughter Aaradhya also increased the buzz around him.
7. Hrithik Roshan
He stayed in the news for working in Shekhar Kapur's next Paani, becoming the Sexiest Asian Man for the second time, and stories of him reprising Tom Cruise's role in the official Bollywood remake of Knight And Day. All of these gave him extra points.
8. Ranbir Kapoor
As always, his link-ups and his films (Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Bombay Velvet and Besharam), gave RK enough points to stay in the top ten.
9. Ajay Devgn
Ajay saw a significant slump as he slipped from the 3rd to the 9th rank, and there were no sardaars to help him. His fight scene with a tiger in Himmatwala and his new brand deal with Dabur kept him in the top 10.
10. John Abraham
John entered the top 10 with the promotions of Race 2 and the films he is currently doing — Hamara Bajaj and Madras Cafe. Being part of the official remake of the Hollywood film Law Abiding Citizen also helped him
